Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels (1986)
Japanese sequel to Super Mario Bros., released June 3, 1986 on the Famicom Disk System. Nintendo of America found it too difficult and too similar to the original.
The Japanese Super Mario Bros. 2 was not released in North America at the time. A different game became the western Super Mario Bros. 2 in 1988.
